Joshua Diamant is a Partner and the Portfolio Manager for Capital Markets of LuminArx Capital Management.
Prior to joining LuminArx, Mr. Diamant was the Head Trader/Risk Manager at J. Goldman LP for a five-person consumer dedicated team responsible for idea generation, structuring and hedging portfolio macro risk. Prior to joining J. Goldman, Mr. Diamant was an Equity Derivative/Volatility Trader at Nomura Securities. At Nomura, Mr. Diamant was responsible for risk in the Consumer and Industrial Derivative flow trading books providing principal facilitation, capital commitment and proprietary trading and structuring.
Prior to Nomura Securities, Mr. Diamant was the Head Trader and Partner at Tourbillon Capital Partners, a long/short equity manager. At Tourbillon, Mr. Diamant was part of building the fund operationally from the Day 1 launch with $100 million to the peak of over $4 billion of AUM. In addition to the operational responsibilities at Tourbillon, Mr. Diamant was part of the Office of the CIO and risk committee member that oversaw portfolio investments, firm risk and investor relations and marketing.
Mr. Diamant received his Bachelor of Arts from Emory University in Psychology.
